So, Value Village is a US "for profit" company and I've heard it said they don't pay taxes. Can anyone confirm/deny this and if confirm, explain why?

I just want to remind Tim Houston and NS Gov that the platform they ran on was to “fix health care” and that health care also includes mental health care. And so, before Tim demands that youth be locked behind bars while ignoring a 25 yr olds death at the hands of police, he should ask himself….

With all the #tariff talk, I hope we remember that budgets and situations have not changed and there will be no shaming as people buy what they can afford at any given point in time, Canadian or not. This is an ongoing situation were all just trying to maneuver to the best of our ability.
