I have two ideas for my AI app. Both have similar tools in the market so I don’t need to validate. One of them requires lot of engineering and the other one is not much. So going with simple one so I can easily move on if didn’t work out

F**k it. I'm building an AI app. I don't know what I'm going to build, but I'm building one. Why? I knew about all the tech waves (mobile apps, cloud and crypto) that happened in recent years at their early stages but never capitalized on them. I won't make the same mistake this time. I'm all in.

I have tons of features to implement, marketing to do and have ideas for new apps but don't have time. I should have started this journey earlier but no regrets.

I am building FileMinutes not only for others but for me as well. In the next version, I'm solving one of my pain points. You can browse/show/close all open Finder window/tab directly from FileMinutes

2024 is the year I finally took action after years of procrastination. I consider FileMinutes a success even with few sales because it has proven me that I can do anything if I focus. 2025 is all about growth. I plan to spend more time learning and experimenting with marketing.

I only had basic features in the first release of FileMinutes but still I have to make changes to some of them after the release. This is why releasing early is important. Only after releasing you are going to get real feedback. #buildinpublic

This caught my attention in the library. As a marketing newbie, I need to learn the basics but this looked more of theory. I need a practical guide

Remember your focus is building the product. Not spending days on choosing the tech stack. Successful makers use the tech as just another tool. I know it is hard as a dev but I'm trying to change #buildinpublic

Experimenting with Affiliates. Let's see if it brings any sales fileminutes.lemonsqueezy.com/affiliates #buildinpublic

How much percentage of the sales you give to your affiliate partners? #buildinpublic

I thought I need another 3 months to feature complete my app but releasing it last month was the best decision. If you haven’t released it yet, why haven’t you? Better be a good reason #buildinpublic

Released the first update to FileMinutes after launch. Positive response from users, and more feature requests are coming in! Wish I had more time to implement them all. #buildinpublic

Back to coding 🙌 Priority is to work on all the feedbacks received from customers. I’m using feedbacks as an input to refine features and prioritize but not blindly implementing exactly what the users asked. This is important for a successful product #buildinpublic

Last one week was crazy. I released FileMinutes and made sales during Black Friday. I am happy with the small number of users I got. Going to focus on them and the product. #buildinpublic

Completed initial version of FileMinutes docs. It is not perfect but good enough for users to understand. Later on I am planning reorganize and add videos. www.fileminutes.com/docs/

Writing documentation is hard even for my own product. But it is important and I already found few UI/UX improvements as a result #buildinpublic

Haven’t done much coding in the last three weeks. Focusing on the release, Black Friday prep, customer support, writing the user guide, ..etc. Starting to feel like a business owner now. #buildinpublic

What do you use for writing user guide? My website is a static HTML so looking for something than can convert Markdown to HTML. Not interested in React based web apps #buildinpublic

FileMinutes is officially released today! 🥳 After months of building the app, it's finally here. The journey wasn't easy - I had to sacrifice a lot and face many challenges, but I never gave up. I've made sales and received great feedback! If you're just starting out, keep going #buildinpublic

I think FileMinutes has hit product-market fit. Got multiple feedbacks and feature requests. It’s exciting!

How much discount do you offer for students/teachers? A user of my app requested it. I’d like to find out more #buildinpublic

Can’t believe my followers count reached to 100+ from zero in few days. In the other app, just reached 300 after months of activity

Phew.. Just added 100+ people to my bootstrappers starter pack 120/150 people now. Final 30 spots left. If you want to be added - - Please retweet - Reply with your project link Only adding serious builders now 🙏 go.bsky.app/CAM1CTr

Finally FileMinutes landing page is complete. Happy with how it looks. Took me a week to do it. Hardest part is writing Copy texts www.fileminutes.com
