This is why Sinners hit me hard. My mom passed right before the pandemic, after a long battle w/MS. I moved a lot for work and she couldn’t travel. She demanded cremation because she “wanted to go where my baby go.” I’m so happy she did that bc having her ashes brought me peace in so many ways.

Okay #perfumesky #fragrancesky help me find the scent of my imagination. I have searched fragrantica's scent finder for hours, and "smells similar" on there and parfumo. Looking for a lighter, spring version of Amouage Jubilation 25. A lemon/citrus top, chypre like with noticeable rose. Suggestions?

Sinners made something click for me and now I need an impromptu session with my therapist. The concept of death as a release, welcomed in some instances. A release for the one passing and their loved ones. Got me thinking about my parents’ very specific end of life and funeral directives to me.

Caught the last IMAX showing of Sinners. In a sold out theatre in white ass Seattle, worked out that I ended up seated between 2 other Black folks also there solo. A time was had. And as I left, the car parked next to me happened to be a sista and we had to do a quick debrief in the parking garage.

Co-worker and I talking over lunch. Sharpe came up and I commented about the gross age difference, and her age when they met. Why this man say the age stuff don’t matter “bc Belichick”, and the real issue is that the accuser is on OF and thus must have trapped and taken advantage of Sharpe.

Love that my friends think highly of me, but it gets out of hand when they know I’m job searching. One sent a grant writing director posting (I wrote one for $1000 18yrs ago 🥴), another sent a VP at a hospital (I worked dietary in college 🤷🏾‍♀️). BFF’s mom has tried to sell me on the IRS since college.
