This is a real story that popped up on my timeline. I am simply stunned. Imagine having to tell someone to meet you at the Lickinghole in fucking Goochland. What, is it right down the road from Taintville? I'm making it a point to go here. I need this experience and at least a T-shirt or something.

That moment in Myst game when you realize you have been looking at a puzzle all game and didnt even realize it. 🤩 #BluePrince might be the best Mystlike ever made.

@aegies.bsky.social your talk about Blue Prince was interesting. I feel like the reviews did a bit of a disservice to the game by not emphasizing that this is actually a Myst game. The room building is basically a subgame whose job is to feed you info and items for the Myst game that is well hidden.

Found the real end game puzzle I think in #BluePrince last night. It's gonna take a while. I really like the room game, but honestly the full fledged Myst clone he dropped the mansion into is more impressive. Also had the rush of connecting something in the environment to a puzzle. It's amazing.

If anyone can just reach room 46 in #BluePrince and just be like yep I'm done they have something wrong with them. That's ending has basically nothing to do with the real puzzles.

I will always stand up for hard games, and the idea that games can be good *because* they are hard. Not because I want to gatekeep, but because I think your immediate-term emotional reaction to something is not a good indicator on its own that an experience needs adjustment. You're robbing yourself.

look if you want a realistic understanding of how healthy cocaine is for your heart you have to interview a lot of cartel leadership, otherwise you're just not armed with the information you need to make that judgement

I literally can't keep up with #Gamepass right now. The amount of releases so far this year is staggering. Why does anyone buy games?

#BluePrince is absolutely incredible so far. The basic puzzle runs are a really satisfying mechanic but as you start finding more of the Myst like world design and puzzles it really gets going. Seeing a random chess board and having no clue what it was for took me back the 90s and being a kid.

God dammit why is Blue Prince releasing on a Thursday not a Tuesday?

For protest to work it needs to have specific demands and be backed by a not so subtle threat that if those demands aren't met, violence will be the response. It must remind those in power they need to fear the masses. Protest to just complain hasn't accomplished anything in 40+ years.
