The History lesson: It took Nazis less than 2 months to dismantle democratic Weimar Republic (Germany). Everyone has to make sure the onslaught against our democratic institutions is slowed down. We need to make sure our republic lasts until the midterm election.

I hope Europe gets its act together. When they do, we will lose one of our biggest arms markets. I do not think they (or anyone else) will trust us with supplying them with parts and support when needed, without a little extortion.

There are thousands of undergrad students in US that have better understanding of Geopolitics and Geography than the whole MAGA clique - including DOGE. Musk does not understand his own limitations. We are run by individuals that never grew up past adolescence.

Everyone is talking about Judges blocking Musk's rampage. The problem is that Federal Courts have no way to enforce their rulings. Trump and Musk can just ignore them. I wonder states opposing Trump are prepare for a period of lawlessness that is going to follow.
