Lilacs are blooming. Looking at little bit wind ripped & rained 2.5" in the last two days. At least this afternoon it's mostly stopped. Still cloudy & temps cool, lower 50's currently 51° at the present time!

It's raining again. At least the sheets were dried. The blanket nearly so put into dryer on air. Trillium did come back!

Took a walk in our front gardens last night after the rain

Been a hectic 2 weeks. Sales are going well & plants are blooming out of season due to the variable weather.

Some color in the nursery. We had 35° last night so a few plants are showing light frost damage. Most are just fine.

Lunch today. A salad topped with family raised organic eggs, fresh strawberries & a cup of herbal tea picked from my greenhouse. Life doesn't get much better!

Cleaned & sheared the ornamental grasses, the buddlieas, & picked some hyacinths, grape hyacinths daffodils, narcissis, that were falling down or bent. Smells wonderful. The syringia lilacs are budded, same with the rhododrens, tree peonies. Asarums, arums primulas all budded

What's for lunch at your house. Mine is a salad with lettuce, spinach, mustard greens, radishes, turnips, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, blueberries & grapes with pistachio on top.

Transplanting peppers. At present Jalapeño Megatron, did cinder after that jalafuego, then Hungarian hots, should take me a little pass lunch & will ask boss what's next!

Not as chilly this morning only in the low 30's. Some newly potted, reported in the greenhouse! What's growing in your area?

Woke up to 23°f/-5c out. At least the sun is out. Not much breeze so a lot of early flowering buds will be effected. I didn't cover my tree peonies or lilacs so I may not get blooms this year!

Been a warmish yet intermittent rainy day. Currently misting with temps going down from 65°f/ 17°c to 40°/5°c. . Friend stopped in!

Spring ephemeral are blooming here. Show me some of yours?

Springtime here & it's raining intermittently. A lot this morning & currently stopped. Moving plants out of greenhouses into hoophouses. What's happening in your garden?

Rainy but warm yesterday & today. Cooler air expected as the day progresses. Enjoying the chinodoxia, daffodils, narcissis, helleborus, few hyacinths other spring bulbs. Muscarii will be coming up soon. Have a walk way filled with them along with sprinkled in the lawn!

Warm today. Some color both in greenhouse & some signs are showing up in the hoophouses. Enjoy!

Some color on this cool sunny day in N. Ohio. Frosty morning again!

Beautiful plants & wonderful foliage! Even a few blooms!

Some much needed color on this coolish 24° this morning & now 40°. We had heavy frost & i feel may not get blossoms from lilacs, tree peonies, cherries, plums &damage grapes as well.

It's officially spring & we have temps in high 38's today. Snow could happen tonight/tomorrow am!

Signs spring is almost here. What are some of the plants growing in your garden?

Signs of spring coming. Today was sunny & cold. Hoping tonight's temps won't freeze our lilacs & tree peonies!

Dinner last night was beef & broccoli with spring blooms on this warm 60°/22°c day. Sunshine & calm now. Big storm coming later day & tomorrow!

Signs of spring on this sunny day. Hope your day has been fruitful & full of purpose!

Getting ready to have lunch. Made coleslaw with hime grown cabbage & store bought carrots also home grown & canned dill relish with fish ( store bought). Dinner is homemade lasagna. Our family prefers meat lasagna w/lots of cheeses ( sharp cheddar, mozzarella & parmesan), semi homemade sauce.

It's looking green. Just got in plants from #Walter'sGardens & all the plants looked basicly healthy.

Planted lavender hidcote & artemesia French tarragon. It's raining again & the temp is dropping. Now 48°f/8°c. Chance of more rain changing to sleet/snow later tonight & Thursday!

Some color & foliage from our display gardens!
