My husband not only got me roses for Valentine’s Day, he got me roses that are a small bush so that I can plant them after the weather warms up! 15 years together and he still has surprises up his sleeve for me.

I used to be friends with a woman who couldn’t grasp that as a mom to a disabled child, I cannot just drop everything and go on girls trips, I have to carefully orchestrate any and all care for my child. We’re mostly not friends cuz she cheated on her husband but that was icing on the cake.

My eye exam and 6 months of contacts was $373 after insurance. I was quoted $550 for LENSES no frames and the cheapest frames in the place were $170 and not my style. Eye doctors gotta stop complaining when patients order online cuz I spent $82 on 2 pairs of glasses with the lenses I need.

If you are struggling with the passing of a loved one and are executor of their will, if nothing else, get the notice to creditors in the paper as soon as humanly possible, it helps when you have random bills for the person come in a year after passing when that notice time is up

Today marks the one year anniversary of my father’s passing. I find it hard to believe and am still having nightmares about getting called in the middle of the night to rush to the hospital to talk to doctors. I haven’t had time to properly grieve his passing, I just had to suck it up and keep going
