Definitely have strong memories of looking through those specific pages. Not sure why.

Love these rakshasa for Tarkir, though I still have a love for the stupid backwards hand ones from D&D. I Like the makeover they got in the new monster manual though to broaden them beyond cat guys. Might be time to rename them in the next rules revision though.

Going deeper into books mostly is dm materials, likewise other miniatures options, props etc. I'd hold off on these until you have played a bit and want explore dming yourself. There are other fun little products you can use to show off-licensed mugs, blankets, playmats etc etc

Level 3 is getting into the deeper customizations. That'll be things like fancy dice, folios for character sheets. Miniatures custom for your character (if your dm is playing with minis... not all do) More specialized books will be at this level too-things like setting specific books

Level 2 is expansion books- with extra species(races) and classes/subclasses. Assuming 5th edition again, those would be Xanathar's guide to everything, Tasha's Guide to everything, and Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse. There are similar books available for older editions too.

Beyond the basics of dice, pencil and paper... lvl 1 is a Player's Handbook. Find out which edition is being used. It will likely be 5th edition, which just had a rules revision. They're compatible, but it makes sense to get the 2024 version if that is what the dm is using or plans on upgrading soon

I stored my Lego at my dad's house, who I no longer speak with. But I'd like to get it back and try to rebuild one of my old blacktron or magnetron sets that are mixed in there.

I like the paints they make, but will happily never buy a dropper of it again if the workers don't get a good deal here

The Greyhound also seems like its on the smaller side, and the IG seems on the larger side to me too - though I am more familiar with those two breeds than Whippets, so I could be wrong.

It feels to me like an AI designed everything after being asked to make a campaign that the kids would enjoy
