The average American has three friends.

Smash Trivia John of the Gamma Analysis podcast joins to discuss Turtles Forever, the 2009 film that brought together the characters of the 2003 and the 1987 TMNT shows. We discuss how it holds up and the mixed reception it got. superherocinephiles.com/turtlesforev...

Always love chatting with Anthony, even if it’s just for a short segment like this.

Ralph Puma is back again for another MCU installment! This week, we look at the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Unfairly maligned by certain corners of the internet, we got a huge kick out of this series and especially Tatiana Maslany’s excellent portrayal of the Jade Giantess.

I always have a blast talking Batman with these guys, and this was no exception.

I wasn't super-psyched about this one, but the more I see of it, the more interested I get.

If this trailer is anything to go by, it looks like Sue is getting a lot of play this time around.

Musician Ralph Puma returns for a discussion of one of Marvel’s most maligned movies—Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Largely considered representative of everything people don’t like about the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, we found some fun things to talk about and can appreciate the swings it took.

This episode, Perry is joined by writer and comedian (and old IRL buddy) Logan Trent for a chat about the absolutely abysmal film, The Crow: Wicked Prayer. From Dennis Hopper’s drugged up cameo to the terrible fight choreography, there’s not a lot of positive things in this film.

Comic book fan and educator Scott Honig returns to discuss Teen Titans Go! to the Movies, the 2018 parody of superhero film culture. Poking fun at the rash of superhero movies and with some cool music to boot and a massive amount of in-jokes, there’s a lot to like about this film.

Podcaster Matthew Maulding joins to discuss Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the introduction of Namor and Ironheart to the MCU, the decision not to recast T’Challa, Shuri stepping up as the lead, and a whole lot more. superherocinephiles.com/blackpanther...

Elements of The Death of Superman have been adapted many times, but this time, we look at the most accurate and full adaptation in the two-part The Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen series. Krypton Report’s Tyler Patrick returns to discuss this adaptation and how well it did its job.

Artist/inker Travis James joins the show for a discussion about The Wolverine! An adaptation of the classic Chris Claremont/Frank Miller story, the film makes some odd changes and has a bizarre third act. But otherwise, it’s a solid film and fun to talk about. superherocinephiles.com/thewolverine/

Peter David's one of the greatest comic writers who ever lived and he deserves better than this. If you can provide any help to him and his family, please do so.

Finally time for Daredevil: Born Again!

It’s the second part of our Turtles double-feature! Kelen “B-Hyphen” Conley is back again, and this week, we’re looking at the most-recent Turtles film, 2023’s Mutant Mayhem! How’d Seth Rogan’s more youthful-oriented take on the Turtles work for us? Find out! superherocinephiles.com/tmntmm/

Kelen “B-Hyphen” Conley returns for another double feature! This time, we’re embracing our childhood nostalgia for the Turtles by first discussing 2007’s CGI animated flick, TMNT! Mostly ignored when it came out, how’s it hold up now? superherocinephiles.com/tmnt07/

I had so much fun talking video games with these guys. And be on the lookout for Matthew Maulding's upcoming appearance on my show when we discuss Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Last call for any questions or comments about The Crow: Wicked Prayer.

Finally found time to see Captain America: Brave New World. Movie’s about to start, looking forward to Sam’s first full outing as Cap.

Next movie for the pod is The Crow: Wicked Prayer. Have any comments/questions about this film to be read on the air? Reply with them!

Author Gordon Dymowski returns to the show, and we discuss one of the most beloved animated DC films, Justice League: The New Frontier. Despite its reputation, how does it hold up as an adaptation of the classic Darwyn Cooke comic? superherocinephiles.com/justiceleagu...

Comic fan Mike Sangregorio joins the show for a fun discussion about the best of the Thor films, Thor: Ragnarok! How did this reinvent the character? What did Ragnarok do well that Love & Thunder dropped the ball on? We touch on all this and a whole lot more.

I was never in the “MCU Fantastic Four *must* be a period piece” camp, but this really works.

I was never in the “MCU Fantastic Four *must* be a period piece” camp, but this really works.

The claws are coming out this week! Marvel novelist Carrie Harris joins Perry to discuss Hugh Jackman’s much maligned first solo outing as Wolverine, and there’s a lot to talk about—some good (Liev Schreiber), but a lot of bad. superherocinephiles.com/xmowolverine/

200 episodes. When the late, great Derrick Ferguson and I started this show, we were surprised when we got to episode 50. And after he passed after episode 60, I didn't think there would be any more episodes at all. Here's to 200 more, and here's to Derrick for helping it start.

Episode 200! And for an episode like this, we’re covering a superhero movie with two titanic leads, plus two guests—Media/Lit's Kris and Randy! We’re talking the multiversal madness of Deadpool & Wolverine, and all the good and some bad that comes with that. superherocinephiles.com/deadpoolwolv...

You know what series we need on Disney+? Magneto: Nazi Hunter youtu.be/nONOlQJKNls?...

Jeff Fountain of the USDN Podcast is the guest this week for a discussion of Nicolas Cage’s first (completed) superhero film—2007’s Ghost Rider! We discuss the film’s legacy, Cage’s performance, and all the ways it really missed the mark. superherocinephiles.com/ghostrider/

Author Brad Mengel returns for a discussion of 1990’s Dark Avenger, a forgotten attempt at capitalizing on the success of Batman ’89, but features a fun performance from Maggie Han and some surprise cameos from the likes of Ken Jenkins and Robert Vaughn. superherocinephiles.com/darkavenger/
