Came to the conclusion that there's only 3 well-defined video game genres: Kart, Warriors/Musou and Tactics. RPG? Adventure? Puzzle? FPS? Could be anything. I say something like "Animal Crossing: Tactics", "Metal Gear Warriors" or "God of War: Kart" and you know exactly what sort of game it is.
