This time line sucks for everyone's mental health and well being. So many people around me tell me they are sad, nervous, distracted, and generally unsettled, and sometimes worse. A light at the end of the tunnel would be nice.

What i think his announcement today means is that even the party that has held itself out as the one interested in equal rights sees it as such a non issue that they ignore this for 4 years and only say something once they have literally zero power or sway. Time to switch to independent.

I was forced into a church similar to “abundant life” when I was 12-13 years old. The feelings of entrapment, powerlessness, being sacrificed by your family …. It’s very hard. Esp as you get older and you realize how little your family and community value you as a person I feel for that girl.
