I ordered a new bag of guitar picks the other day, Dunlop Tortex Jaz III .88mm, same as always. Unpacked them and took the first one. Immediately felt something was off. Took my caliper and lo and behold: They're actually 0.95mm! Turns to be a bag of misprints. Funny how the human body works!

Just found out that a scientist that I got to know, at my old job has unexpectedly passed away in 2023. I really only talked to her on my last day, but it was a very meaningful convo that really stuck with me. We meant to stay in touch, but it didnt work out. Thanks for cheering me up that day!🥹

Got a new set of bindings for my snowboard last week and set up my board just now and I was *this close* to taking tomorrow off work and just going riding tomorrow. Downside is I would have to drive 8 hours to the closest mountain 🙃
