I made a "recreation" of the old #TokiTori website from 2001, when it released on #GameBoy Color! Check it out here: svrbrndmg.neocities.org (I didn't wanna pay for a website lol) // Two Tribes may take this down if they wish, just contact me, please.

that's it, I'm FIXING MY ATTENTION SPAN!... oh look a funny cat on my feed :)

cool thing of the day: please check out the Pantaloon newsletter for free bold & bizarre indie games sent to your inbox, which you solve very fun puzzles to guarantee your key of. I already have 3 games from it and loved all of them! Also great for indie devs as well. 🙂 @pantaloon.io #indiegames

time to find moots I like: 🐤Toki Tori 🐔Hotline Miami 🏃Geometry Dash 👔Half-Life 2 ☢️All Fallouts (esp the first few) 🎮Indie Games in general I am: 🕹️A gamedev (svrbrndmg.itch.io) 👨‍💻A coder/programmer 📝A bad writer 👨A jack of all trades, master of none You can find my stuff here: linktr.ee/svrbrndmg

svrbrndmg.itch.io IT'S OUT!! i'm gonna go to sleep now...

Hardcore Idler releases TOMORROW!!! I can't wait to show you what I've cooked up.

the sign of becoming a true blue programmer is when you start typing both parentheses first, and then returning to them to actually write your text, even on social media (^^^ neeerrrd)

Development of the idle game is goin' strong! Gonna add some more upgrades (for a total of about ~11, not including Ascensions), maybe another building, some excellent tracks from friend DJ Samidy (handle is @samidy dot com) and other funky stuff! Tomorrow is playtest day! (More info tomorrow)

Alright, so, my friend Samidy (@handle.invalid) gave me a lot of helpful feedback and I've decided to push the game back a little bit. Expect it around Thursday or Friday. (if you don't know what I'm talking about, check my other posts) Here's some screenshots at least ;)

My first "game", "Hardcore Idler", will release tomorrow on itch and GameJolt for free. It's not very big or important, but it is my first! No engine was used, just pure pygame power. And yes, this cover photo really, really sucks. It was the best I could muster in paint dot net. Aight, cya then!

Github could be a social media and that scares me. Imagine seeing someone's status change from "💭procrastinating" or "🎮Making a game" to "🤔@svrbrndmg actually, slavery wasn't THAT bad"

absolutely love websites that keep the old look from the 2000's, like qbittorrent or blogger. They're so shiny, so easy to navigate compared to the "sleek" corporate trough slop of today. Just bring back the Web 2.0 ahh look for major companies at this point please, we need it now more than ever

Hollow Knight is the only great recent metroidvania and that saddens me. I played Guacamelee and this game is just walking from obstacle to obstacle, boss to boss with your new powers. It doesn't have the exploration and choice that made HK brilliant. It's fine, ig. Metroidvanias are hard, man

I love how I’m not seeing any rage bait here or anyone being assholes at least on my TL it’s super peaceful & chill. It’s just gamers playing games posting about games, talking about games & enjoying the hobby as a whole. Also random life tidbits here and there. Some food pics. Animals. I love it.

⚔️Sharpen your swords and pray to your lords!🙏 Death of the Reprobate will be released on November 7th! I am withered to a husk, but the triptych is almost complete! I could really do with your help spreading the word about this one, if nobody buys it I will be very very sad.

getting good at making games involves mastering the basics sure but the longer i do this the more i’m convinced that “the basics” isn’t coding, design, art, innovative unique ideas, or UI… it’s developing the difficult habit of actually *finishing something*

the only thing worse than a broken computer is a functioning slow one

If you want to really, truly have moral choices in video games, forget "evil - good" options. What you're REALLY looking for is "convenient - inconvenient" options. Seriously, the #1 most common test of morality is that little bit of extra effort required, and that's what will actually test people
