Well, he bought twitter and boosted everyone he agreed with, so maybe the data he is seeing is not very representative of reality. But who knows, maybe he can continue this indefinetely like the FSD fraud.

Unfortunately this started long time ago for some reason.

Ei Teslan arvossa ole ollut järkeä vuosikausiin. Elon on luvannut "Full Self Driving" jo kohta 10 vuotta? Kusetus voi vielä jatkua monta vuotta ihan hyvin. Nyt varsinkin kun Musk voi pelailla itselleen liittovaltion tukia mahdollisesti.

Borrow money to invest in Trump-coin of course

When is Trump going to throw Musk under the bus. The funniest outcome is the most likely as Musk keeps saying.

Maybe he should start this revolution with the all-in pod guys...

Could be. How many of those gamers would by these AAA games anyway? Maybe GTA VI will the game that will force people to upgrade, in 2026 or something.

Yes, but direction is clearly to use RT to lessen the work needed to make baked lightning etc. So I assume in couple years this is normal for AAA games. Indies will cater to older HW.

Indian Jones has mandatory ray tracing. Future will be like this, because it will decrease the work needed to be done by devs. Runs on newest consoles. PC side indie games will of course provide countless games for people with lesser hardware. AAA will require PS5 level of hardware in coming years.

Indiana jones runs 60 fps on series S, looks okay also. This is the example what is being discussed, same implementation will be in new doom.

I mean sure, no problem. You can continue to feel sorry about people feeling pleasure about their hobbies. No one is going to stop you :)

Yes, and now I understand that you dont have any arguments, you just wanted to say some things unrelated to my comment it seems

So your opinion is the truth about the value of graphics cards? :)
Okay then.
Lottery is not relevant for this discussion.
comment in response to

Where did I said it was a good investment? Some people think it is worth the price, some dont. If graphics or hardware do not interest you, switch is cheap or xbox series S. Buying one graphics card in two years is not gambling.

I mean, it is a hobby. It brings joy, like many other things. For some it is too expensive, but for many richer americans for example, it is a drop in the yearly budget.

Some guy on reddit was complaining that 50 hours to collect everything was too short. Some people have been broken by open world nonsense.

This might depend on the pump brand also, so might not be universal. Arctic pump is just too loud for me at full speed and I did not get any noticable difference on temps 100% vs 60%.
comment in response to
post
I run the aio pump at constant speed, like 60%, and fans respond to cpu temp.
comment in response to
post
Why not put the aio pump to the pump header and aio fans to cpu header? This should yield better results. Of course if there is only one connector I understand.

That is fine, but you said you keep wanting a HDR monitor :)

Everyone forgets the newest game "Young Blood", which had the coop focus for some reason.

Interesting that that this hdr+frame gen issue appears in idtech. Similar issue is also present in infamous Jedi Survivor.

OLED monitor is still far superior in SDR compared to alternatives. Night and day difference for me switching from IPS to QD-OLED.

I feel that if golden age of fraud coined by Chanos started earlier, now it should be called something like diamond/platinium age of fraud 🤔

Yes, this. The poll just tells that HW has managed to influence their audience to agree with them. I also agree with them.

Hating "woke" games seems to be very popular. I click not interested on all rage bait, but still youtube recommends it again and again. Probably because I watch gaming and hardware videos and so do the angry "gamers".

Looks fine most of the time, but sometimes the surfaces just look flat and dated. Probably some assets are older than others.
