Mishal Husain’s last day on #r4today this morning. She’s the best of their presenters by far in my opinion. Capable of balance, & of rigorous, devastating interviews, without ever getting shrill, or hectoring & speaking over her interviewees. A real loss for the BBC.

The older I get, the more I wonder at those who capture the blunt, angry numbness of grief. Not just the sorrow; the emptiness, the rage. The tiring, tedious business of running on the spot. I wish Brian comfort, and only hope he knows how many people his words will reach, and help.

I had polio when i was 9. I was taken from my parents & placed in a Hospital for contageous diseases- the polio ward. I would see them once a week - thru the glass window at the end of my ward. I could not walk. It was terrifying. Kids died. Iron lungs were awful. Dont let RFK Jr ban the vaccine

Absolutely go f**k yourself. Autism is not a "get out of jail free card" for being an arsehole. Do you know how hard so many autistic individuals work to fit in, to be treated "normally"? This type of crap makes it harder for all of us. Being autistic doesn't give you a pass to be a predator.
