"Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" turned out to be much better than I expected. The season finale was great and barraged us with so many teases for future seasons, its crazy! Give it a watch if you haven't seen it as all the episodes are up now.

In this painting of Saint Roch, it was thought the long white string was pus coming from a wound in his leg. A more recent theory proposes it depicts a worm called Dracunculus medinensis, AKA the Guinea Worm. After a year inside you, it grows to 3 feet long and pops out of a blister.

"Speak no Evil" was really good! A very predictable plot but saved by great acting, especially by McAvoy: one of his best performances since "Split". I give it a 9/10. Apparently this is also a remake of a Dutch film, from what I read online. Will have to check that out later.

Much delayed post, but I wanted to recognize 2024 as the year I discovered the Hellaverse. It started with Hazbin Hotel, followed by recommendations to watch Helluva Boss. Now I'm obsessed. Thank you, @vivziepop.bsky.social, for creating such a wonderful series and great characters!
