This entire Xbox games showcase is a demonstration of why no one should pay Geoff keighley any money for ad spots and instead look to sell there game ads anywhere else especially partnering with consoles.

And now as I wait for the switch 2 I’m happy to report I’m back on my bullshit and have restarted final fantasy 7 rebirth for a ng+. Playing on the pro and it’s really amazing how stunning it looks and play on the ps5 pro. Can’t wait to play it all again, I think rebirth is personal perfect game

as a family we played streets of rage 4 right at the start of the PANDO when it came out and we were all indoors. Formative memory for me and it’s got my son who was 4 at the time to desperately want to replay it after finishing SOR2. Really excited to revisit SOR4, which is absolutely peak

I also replayed Streets of Rage 2 on the weekend with my son and that game is also still so wonderful. It’s of its time but feels timeless. Every time I play it there’s a rush of memories of me and my brother playing rented copies in our apartment living room as kids. Soundtrack on repeat now

Replayed nier automata and finished it again this weekend (endings ABCDE) that game remains such a brilliant work of art. It’s not perfect but it’s a masterpiece. so much of it occupies spaces of brain since I first played it and now has tucked itself even more tightly to those nooks

Naheed Nenshi has a clear, unobstructed runway to rub a pro Canadian, pro Albertan, pro unity message and platform and break the UCP in Alberta for a good long while. Doubling down on the importance of Alberta, the shared history in, with and of Canada with progressive values would win

The early days of the expedition 33 subreddit are so great cause it’s just a community collectively geeking out about a game, gushing about it and loving it and also just being super helpful to people coming in and asking questions, showing builds etc. Really good vibes right now

One of favourite things is a nice Friday evening, the weather’s nice so you sit outside a bit on the steps and then you come in, grab a blanket and settle into an RPG Specifically a turn based one

Ghost of Yotei scared them

I really loved daredevil: born again. The first season remains special, a lot of it a time and place thing, thr corridor fight of course and the newness and freshness of it. The new season thigh just feels so effortlessly modern and contemporary in how it addresses daredevil post trump 1

Played and beat south of midnight a couple of weeks ago and while I had good time with it (good story, excellent music, subject matter that isn’t usually represented well in games) i found it pretty boring overall to play. Some of the praise and high scores the game has received really baffle me

Social media turns us all into scolds, doomers, optimistic warriors and brain rot task avoidance scrollers. It all just depends where you are in your day every day, all of these are seasons in a 24 hour clock of clicking and refreshing

My anxiety, mental state and doomerism owe a lot to how much I love the maple leafs and am incapable of quitting them.

This fucking hockey team, man. And I’ll never learn

If Pontus holmberg is one of your tope six forwards it doesn’t matter if you’re dominating series, you’re just as likely to implode because it’s ridiculous that a player like that is on of your top two lines

Ten of my favourite games of all time in no particular order: * final fantasy 7 (OG + remake/rebirth) * super Mario bros 3 * streets of rage 2 * RDR2 * final fantasy X * the last of us * tears of the kingdom * persona 5 royal * street fighter 2 * Tetris effect (in VR)

Pollsters for the most part didn’t project seats just top lines and regional trends. It’s the seat modellers who took that data and applied it who were way way off and did a disservice to democracy. I think 338 etc are a growing nightmare for voting and making informed choices
