A+ skate ski with Luna this morning. Clear blue skies, 31 degrees, nice firm snow. We set a new PR at our usual 12k distance, even with a fair amount of rolling in snow along the way. #dogsofbluesky

I went on a snowcoach tour of Yellowstone yesterday. I was pretty shocked to hear the guide address this so directly. Plenty of rangers he’d known for a while already fired, more to come, no plan for running the park in the busy season. Well done, everybody.

My dad died six weeks ago. SS payments stopped immediately. They clawed back a payment that came in just after he passed.My mom has to wait a couple more weeks for an in person meeting to verify eligibility for survivor benefits. There is vanishingly little fraud here. They are lying.

In West Yellowstone for a week and the intensity of winter here is incredible. Mounds of snow, no plowing, wild foxes chilling in the middle of the street like it’s a normal thing to do.
