Cold light of day, Liverpool absolutely deserve another title for what they have done over the last 7-8 years, especially as they have almost certainly had titles taken from them due to *redacted* I remain confident Arsenal will do it under Arteta.

😖 it has been feeling like this wasn’t to be our season for some time and my mind had kind of given up with all the shit getting in our way. But as a fan there’s always a glimmer of hope. Today was hard to take. I really hope this team, with additions, can go on to win the biggest prizes 🙏🏻🤞🏻. Please!

On the night of that awful first leg v Newcastle I went to see my knee doctor before the game and bumped into Tomi there. He was limping and didn’t look right. Arsenal staff kept saying “we’re all good” and paranoid about a pic inside the hospital… Arsenal docs left the surgeon’s office a bit later

Most know what I think, been saying the same for years. From the black club, to the French club & now the all inclusive club. When I hear “same old Arsenal always cheating” every week (& repeatedly when playing the leagues dirtiest team) I know where it comes from. It’s deep rooted biases & isms.

I love the psychology around a two-legged tie, which points to the eternal optimism of even the most pessimistic of football fans. You can lose 2-0 at home in the first leg and be certain it's over. Then once the 2nd leg arrives, the hope creeps in. "An early goal could make all the difference..."
