New bard just dropped... (I have kinda mixed feelings on the trailer, but still.) #dnd #ttrpg www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YDQ...

This provocative photograph of the 2024 #dnd Monster Manual dares to ask: Are you ready to drow your sorrows?

Ok, this one wins. Gulf joke submissions now closed. #startrek

"Remember: Canada isn’t perfect either. Neil Peart probably flubbed the 'Tom Sawyer' drum solo at least once in his life. And Margaret Atwood has almost certainly double-booked herself and been late to a coffee date."

Putting together a small Shadowdark project, and just realized that we could have the most hardcore SD project ever if we do a writer gauntlet. Get 20 writers to all contribute, and then throw out 18 of the contributions. (Still paying everyone obviously). Anyhow, we won't be doing that. #ttrpg

Applicable not only to social media presence, but also to #ttrpg or #dnd community involvement! (meme not mine)

Inspired by this episode, I made an all-purpose 2024 #dnd subclass for ANY class: L3: When you do a thing, choose one: ally gains temp. HP, or enemy gains Frightened condition. L6: L3, but more targets. L13: You gain your choice of 1 buff you already have, which doesn't stack. L20: L3, but both!

Interesting #dnd tip! I admit, I generally go the other way on this. Err on the stronger side, then pull back. I find it easier narratively to have monsters drop early or play weaker than to get them to be stronger or add more. Plus, players more often surprise me with power than lack thereof.

@dndbeyond.bsky.social Hi, I noticed some monsters were changed yesterday, but the changelog pulls them into the earlier update instead of one for yesterday. Could you keep them separate so we can know when things change? Also, could there be an actual errata document for the physical books? Thanks!
