Ni No Kuni ain't it tbh. I'm 12 hours in (probably more like 6 since I leave my games running a lot) and I just have very little interest in anything it's trying to do at all. The trails were pretty cool but not a single character interests me, the capture system sucks and the story is so very basic

Ni No Kuni, for as good as the combat is, and as cute and pretty as it is, it just makes me wish I was playing tales of Symphonia. The games are pretty similar in content, but the story just better in Symphonia. I really hope it starts to differentiate soon
