H A I R C O L O U R I N G 😳 Who spends hours at a local gym’s bathroom to dye their hair?

📚Question to avid readers: how do you organize your personal libraries? Is there a system you follow? By author, genre, color, time when you got it, theme, feeling, …? Do some books “feel” like they belong together?

Octavia Butler’s “Parable of the Sower” is a dystopian novel that begins on 21 July 2024 (today). The US faces total social chaos and institutional crisis amidst climate change that displaces entire communities. The main character is an empath who feels others’ pain as her own.

Help! Drizzle is trying to flirt with me

What could be some alternative insults to “I hope you step on a LEGO”? 👀

I just gave my first long tech talk - it was 45 mins! And.. I actually really enjoyed the experience🥹💕 I found it easy to explain how WebContainers work - I leaned on my knowledge but also kept in mind the stuff I struggled with when building my mental model of WebContainers.

My sister’s love language: making random playlists 🎶 This one is called "pov you're a main character who's going through life changes for the plot” so you have a soundtrack for tough situations 🕺

There is so much power in embracing the cringe Be the earnest loving joyful cringe you want to see in the world

Today I’m giving my first live talk 😱 I’m strexcited.

Happy birthday, @shaundai.com 💕 thank you for all your kindness. I hope you have a blast today - and all throughout this new year!

I feel blessed to have found a community during my first year in London🥺 During my first year in NYC, I was surrounded by people but I felt very lonely. Everyone was so busy and folks I met didn’t get my cultural references. Or maybe I didn’t get theirs. https://www.shauntan.net/arrival-book

I'd love to learn about the conferences that offer accommodations to speakers (or attendants). 1️⃣ Organizers: does your CFP mention any accommodations? If not, what help would you need to do so? 2️⃣ Disabled speakers/attendants: have you requested or been offered any accommodations? If not, why?

🔴 LIVE Collaborative, real-time apps with Partykit The web is more fun with friends. @threepointone.bsky.social is teaching us how Partykit makes it fun and straightforward to add collaborative experiences to any app. https://twitch.tv/jlengstorf

What advice would you give to a person who wants to switch careers to tech but doesn’t know whether to choose data science or web development? 👀

"We're just asking for a bit of your time" That's actually the most valuable, crucial, and limited part of my life.

Being too busy to be kind lands you in the Bad Place.

If you'd like long-term growth for a project or protocol, avoid attacking others. Collaborate, raise bridges, learn from them, and focus on offering a better product for users. And if in the end, your efforts end up forcing competitors to improve, that counts as a big success story.

Huge news - you can run StackBlitz on Safari, iOS, iPadOS 🔥 In the blog post I explain our architecture decisions, past and present, including parts that are often misunderstood about how browsers and WebContainers work 👀 https://blog.stackblitz.com/posts/webcontainers-are-now-supported-on-safari/

“Everything’s better with friends” - man, that’s such a good tagline 🥺❤️
