Back to the worldbuilding grind. Some of the other nations that exist in the world of Blackacre. The Aklen cross, the sword through a ring, is a common religious motif, thus it being represented in a lot of flags.

Spent the last weekend making this. I've been making an effort in listening to more concept albums instead of the same handful of songs on repeat.

Updated my Neocities profile with a lot of old and new recommendations. Mostly so I don't need to blabber on about my favourite albums here. symberzite.neocities.org/collection

Since I'm on a roll with hot takes. Monument Mythos is a better spiritual successor to Alan Moore's Watchmen than most actual Watchmen successor stories. Reframing the United States as the center of the universe/purgatory from Dante is both great satire and a work of surreal art.

Hot take, but while I love fantasy works with deep world building, the existence of said lore shouldn't take priority over creating engaging plots or having meaningful relationship the viewer can relate to. As you can guess, I've been binging Skyrim.

Annual self portrait (I'm super rusty since I haven't painted in a while.

I really want to make a videogame based on Blackacre but I was struggling picking a genre and a format that I can reasonably finish on my own in a single lifetime. After a few sleepless nights, I drafted up a design document for a first-person adventure game inspired by System Shock 2.

Alright I got the physical copies from the print shop. They got the cover backwards and.. yeah.

Everything larger than 40 pages needs to be gluebound, but glue binding isn't great, especially if you have illustrations, while also jeopardising the longevity of the product.

I'm printing out BoNE (20-30 copies for local game stores) and I'm beginning to understand the value of ring bound books, especially for RPGs and cookbooks or whatnot.

The English version is out with all of the art, grab it now!
