Some of these initiatives were pushed by (primarily white) liberals, not people with a personal stake in the matter. It's a minimum viable disruption, *just enough* to feel like you're doing something without actually having to *do* anything. thoughts and prayers. participation trophies for culture.

it's important to warn anyone traveling to the US: don't go on a helicopter tour in NY. this kind of thing happens all the time. it's a crowded airspace, filled with new yorkers. and chopper tours are optional!
