When referring to slavery, rather than saying “slaves”, say “enslaved people”. Rather than saying “slave owners”, say “enslavers”. It’s important to recognize the humanness of people forced into bondage along with the intentional, cruel, and unnatural action of forcibly holding someone in bondage.

Just released memorandum from OPM: Federal facilities will now have a bathroom ban for transgender people. It will go into effect on the 31st. It also has a slew of effects and puts into place the 1st anti-trans EO policies for every agency. This will have a ton of impacts very quickly.

I've been using @grebenyuk.bsky.social 's technique here for a while: kean.blog/post/swiftpm... Hiccups with package resolution/updates for branch-based things. I don't follow the exact same target-based approach. But keeping your package dependencies managed in this way works and is quite nice.
