read this a couple times & still do not get what the writer is driving at with such tedious english (reminds me of corporate bamboozle) but i feel the need to say this: (in simple english!) certain sentiments have become “syrupy” in western cultures but remain alive & dignified in chinese culture

LOCH has some pacing issues (clearly from squeezing too much lore into 2.5 hours & censorship) but overall, very fun and entertaining watch, very moving in parts, fantastic acting & xz is INCREDIBLE
