Setting up Windows on an older laptop today. The "restore to factory settings" media now installs Win11 instead of Win10. 😤 The only method to bypass "unlocking my Microsoft experience" that actually worked for me was this one: github.com/the-P1neappl... No BypassNRO-based method (reg/cmd) worked.

Making even a simple game engine is tough; there are many design decisions that have far-reaching implications as you build out. I've been working bottom-up, but I think I have to switch to top-down for now... I might even try domain-driven design to avoid thinking in code and data structures.

Bummer: I have a case of Alphagators that just don’t work. They “sweat” through the top layer become damp sponges, getting everything they come in contact with wet: clothes, furniture, etc. They’re cute of course, but I feel like I wasted money if I can’t actually use them. 😕 #abdl

On vacation at a bed and breakfast for the next week, with a claw-foot bathtub and very few concrete plans. Feeling quite relaxed. ❤️ Being out of the house means I’m not confronted with all the things I need to do/fix/improve throughout the day, and that’s a big deal!
