I've not had this happen with Caltrain, but with the electrification last year what I would hear, at least initially, was a cautionary "queer electric trains in service," which I shortly realized was just the train station pronouncing "quieter" as "quee-eter."

I made a stew of sauteed lamb, mushrooms, onion, and lingonberry preserve, following a recipe for renskavsgryta (reindeer stew). With a potato on the side, it makes a simple but tasty dinner.

While decluttering I found a compact folding can opener. By cursory web search and correlation to a manufacturer's engraving, I identified it as a P51 can opener issued with military rations in the mid-20th century. I find it quite easy to use 🦊
