Reminds me of when ArenaTV started an SMS donation system of 3$ back in 2010. I think it came with some perks, like access to the full archive. A few of the people that sent that donation (of which ArenaTV only got 1$) suddenly became lords almighty over me and considered that they owned me. For 1$.
