Yes.

This is true. We don’t deserve dogs. To be fair, we don’t deserve cats and they only tolerate us because of can openers. And tuna.

Truth be told, I’m always up to read something by @swordsjew.bsky.social and this is the one thing I am glad I’ve read today.

when people say "this isn't what I voted for" they should be forced to list what they DID vote for

The damage is multi-generational and began with n earnest with Republican unchallenged attacks aided and abetted by the media that wanted both sides coverage of Bill Clinton. It continued with Bush’s wars and accelerated with unchallenged attacks on Obama. We’ve been in trouble for years.

On our afternoon #dogwalk in Denver’s #lohi neighborhood. #bskydogs

Oh, F this guy! Please, Mr. Secretary, tell me , who, in a position of power and authority in the Western World is keeping that from happening? F off you slime ball.

The Nazis didn't just target Jews. From early on, they went after people of various ethnic groups (notably Romas) & made examples of those who were in political opposition to the regime. They targeted queer & trans & disabled people from early, too. This is a uniquely USian fascism, but it's here.

Well, she’s definitely a member of a gang

I've been saying for years that these people are not our "friends" and, as my Aunt Bessie would say, "They're not good for the Jews." Being last in line to be discriminated against (because that's what they will do, or worse), means you're still in the line.

This 100%

How much do I respect my former Senator @duckworth.senate.gov (I no longer live in IL)? From the first time I heard her speak, an immense amount and this is just one reason.

Appears to? The slippery, sloppy dude actually dropped the damn thing. What the f*ck is wrong with you? Call it like it is.

And some of us become more liberal as we see the end results of conservative policies and how wrongheaded conservative politicians spin those policies.

Hey, on your way out, pick up a #magazine. Why retailers put them past the checkout and why suppliers allow this is a mystery.

She's @erinbiba.bsky.social absolutely right. I always hated the Republican 50+1 strategy and despised the fact that the Democratic consulting class decided that was the strategy on our side. It's not. We can't say there's more of us and then barely eek out a victory (or loss).

But only if certain smelly things are being tossed in his general direction.

This pretty little grey spider dropped in on us during our picnic at Sloan Lake in Denver this afternoon. I was kind of happy to see her. The rest of the fam, maybe not so much. #spider #blueskyspiders #Spidersofbluesky

Bullshit. Liar. Coward. Fuck off @golden.house.gov. You are an embarrassment to the United States, the state of Maine, New England, and the Democratic Party.

I'm a former Outside Magazine staffer. My work for the magazine was a very formative part of my early career. The staff prided itself on top-notch journalism and early on won an Elly. To read this...this is what happens when VC money gets involved in journalism www.cjr.org/news/outside...

These are not good people

It's pretty interesting when these allegedly "genius" business guys turn out to be not so genius. Didn't Bill Ackman pay attention during the first Trump term? Didn't he read Proj 2025? It's petty and childish, but I hope this all hurts him badly. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Yeah, pretty much…

What’s kind of funny about this is that guys like Johnson actually think that when this is all over the donor class will actually appreciate them and protect them. I highly doubt that. The donor class does not take care of their tools.

Yeah, this is going to go great... #tariffs #bookselling #print #magazines #ohshit www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2025/04...

So, I’ve now learned that Spring in Denver is like Spring in Chicago but with less oxygen and more dog poop.

For my nationally distributed clients, Canada is 5-20% of retail sales and at least 5% or more subscribers. Overseas can be a few more points. That plus the tariffs on paper and printing could kill this business. And we were actually doing ok until now.

The import of pickled herring heads is a luxury item…
