Taken the morning we flew out of Budapest on our once-in-a-lifetime European vacation last October. On that very day in 2024, we were 16 years together, 7 years married, and for me, 3 years sober. Much to celebrate, and much love!

My husband, a 40-year AIDS survivor, helped organize one of the first AIDS Candlelight Memorials in STL in the late 80's. This past weekend at the Gateway to Pride exhibit at the Missouri History Museum, we saw an original poster with HIS handwriting on it. We held each other tightly and wept.
