Who else reads multiple books at one time when they have a full mental battery? I was feeling good today and now I have three on the go simultaneously. >> All different formats! I want to maintain the momentum if I can. Mostly because I just want my brain to keep feeling less anxiety and more joy.

Got a converter and some fancy shiny ink for the fountain pen that I got for my birthday years ago. I’m using it to write my story’s outline onto index cards so I can visualize it and rearrange it in a tactile way. It’s a kind of storyboard.

Last day of my long weekend. It was busier than I thought it would be, but I don't regret that it was only like 25% chill time. I got a lot off of my plate that had been causing me long term stress and that's a relief - it means I can spend more time being more relaxed overall going forward.

It’s got me turning ideas over in my head about one of my characters who was always kind of sacrificial. Watching a story that centered so heavily on meaningful vs. meaningless death has me stewing. I want to make sure that this one’s got a point to it like it’s supposed to. Otherwise… well.
