The Church of St Mary, Stainburn, Yorkshire. The Norman font is carved with an arcade of intersecting arches and small ornamental motifs, including human faces. The lid is likely to be from the C17th. The C14th bell is inscribed with 'John is my name' in Latin. #FontsonFriday #Yorkshire
