Just Watched (with my kid): Visually stunning animation and a wonderfully emotional story about life, love, purpose, and found family. I’d put this up there in the pantheon of Iron Giant, Wall-E, Big Hero 6… friendly/learn to love big robot style movies. We both absolutely loved it. Rating: 5/5

Just Watched: Incredible gnarly visuals & effects. Sound design is absolutely killer. Demi Moore gives a fearless and insane performance; while Margret Qualley is just a wild force of nature. Dennis Quaid is a top notch slime ball. Truly some grotesquely clever body horror. Rating: 4/5

I like some of the Amazon shows and movies no doubt and I guess luckily MGM is a part of this situation but also Wilson & the Broccoli family has been so intricate in the Bond franchise so it feels really weird and off they aren’t in control of it anymore.

The 2 episode finale of #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan was top notch. Finished the season perfectly with a great setup for the future of S2. This debut season was absolutely engaging, entertaining, & fun but also was one of the best iterations and introductions to Spidey.

“Tell your girl I’m comin’ for her” Hell yeah. SKB with a “man on a mission” vibe just feels awesome. Also all the Die Hard references in this episode was fun. But!… that ending got me crazy nervous. Don’t trust her! Hot damn this is my favorite show right now #ParadiseHulu

This was a tense, unique, and creepy horror crime thriller. Some of the lore and story felt clunky at times though. Maika Monroe gives a good nuanced performance, Cage brings something truly bizarre with his character. Slow burn dread saturates everything throughout. Rating: 4/5

Watched earlier today in theaters with Owen (who’s a fan of the book series), and we had a fun time! A great family friendly animated flick with some good laughs, big heart, a solid voice cast (Lil Rel, Pete Davidson, Isla Fisher), and well done, very cool animation. Rating: 4/5

Damn. I haven’t had a almost spiritual, life altering movie experience like that in quite some time. It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful in its simplicity but also it’s animation. A meditation on life, death, new and found family. Just life as a journey. Rating: 5/5
