Cat for no reason in particular

The stage of capitalism where companies advertise on a Nazi porn site for fear of government reprisal. gizmodo.com/it-sure-look...

I know I need to play Super Meat Boy if I want to consider myself a decent at platforming and this glorious trailer put it at the top of my list youtu.be/iRlqdEiTRR8?...

Had you told me the first time I watched the music video for “Closer” that Trent Reznor would one day have an Oscar for his music, I would have laughed. After The Fragile was released, I absolutely would have believed it and this song is the reason why. 1/2

If this is of comfort to anyone, I just spent a therapy session interrogating my psychiatrist about RFK Jr. and the threat to antidepressants/ADHD medications. She told me that her colleagues throughout the Columbia/Cornell medical system are not concerned about them being banned in the near future

This is one of my favorite Alice in Chains songs but it is not from one of their studio albums. It is from the Last Action Hero soundtrack and was released as a single. Though it was recorded in the Dirt era, it has more upbeat Facelift vibes. Nice to see Layne looking healthy but omg with that fit

I have so much to say about Death’s Door but for now I’ll just tell you that if you liked Tunic or Hyper Light Drifter it is a must-play

Sheer cowardice. New Yorkers deserve better

I have failed as a human, my brain cannot operate at this level

I missed out on this character, but I did witness the Toxic Gossip Train moment, which was incredible

Many songs were written about Andrew Wood - Would, Say Hello 2 Heaven and Maybe to name a few. I’ve heard it argued that grunge wouldn’t have been as dark if not for Andy’s death. Impossible to know, but Pearl Jam wouldn’t have existed and Eddie Vedder might be a surfboard instructor right now

My company is forcing us back to the office. They won’t accommodate remote hires (unless it is in their offer letter, which is rare) regardless of proximity. Termination was threatened for noncompliance. Exemptions are discretionary, even for medical reasons. I assume layoffs are coming next

I guess at least one of us isn’t going back

Hunger Strike is one of many songs I have listened to hundreds of times and as such has lost nearly all joy and meaning for me (fun fact: this is called semantic satiation). But what if it was re-imagined as an 8-bit video game track? I find this delightful, maybe you will too

I’m loving Death’s Door. I didn’t know how much I wanted a boss to call me a ‘little shit’ and I wish it happened more often. What I *hate* is ice. I hate it so much. Perhaps even more than status effects in boss fights

For fucks sake, it would be really great if a politician could just do something because it is the right thing to do

When did we collectively decide to start using ‘unalive’ to replace ‘kill’ and or ‘suicide’? Is it to avoid TikTok bans? I’m watching a streamer play a boss rush and it’s every 20th word out of his mouth. It is so silly and irksome - it does the *exact opposite* of what it’s supposed to do

There is no escaping capitalism, even as a ghost in a video game

I dunk on this account regularly because this shit is so dumb. In the New York Post (lmao) article, one of the authors of an academic paper claims intelligent life “may not require a series of lucky breaks to exist,” which is insane to say while we are in the midst of our *sixth* mass extinction

As much as I’m annoyed by most HuffPo posts here being straight-up product ads, this was an incredible artistic choice. The cat face is killing me
