an introduction to vieras 🐇 #gposers

This is how pretty you can make your character, when you play Final Fantasy XIV. Glamouring is so much fun! #Glam #FFXIV

Does make me chuckle, his expression is like 'yep, that's my hat gone'!

A fountain pen with maki-e on a transparent body is almost complete for a customer. All that's left is to add the signature. While maki-e is often applied on black surfaces, applying it on transparent materials requires special techniques, and the way urushi lacquer is handled also changes.

You are magic ✨

I like this, viewing time away from stress is just balancing worries and cares with relaxing and unwinding time

Experiencing seasonal change has been interesting because I’ll feel depression creeping up like a fungus for weeks and then on the one day of bright sunlight, while wearing my fleece-lined hoodie two-piece, mug of tea warming my hands and face… Everything feels good again.

Managed to catch the cold that's going 'round, so relaxing and enjoying @ximoka.bsky.social play 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy' www.twitch.tv/ximoka

Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons: -We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S. -The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous. 🧵⬇️

It's just so fascinating, to think of humans like us drawing and painting these images, so long ago

My brain is a miscellaneous drawer

And in just going outdoors, seeing the buzz of a city, the quiet life of a village, a walk by a river or sitting on a park bench with flowers and people and trees in view. Love this tip, this encouragement.

Pause, let nature ground you. 🍃

“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.” ― E.E. Cummings

Your happiness doesnt have to look like other people's, it just has to hurt nobody.

Winter can be full of Colours … An oldie … as a reminder that mild winters without snow and ice can be just as amazing. 😅

i hope your day is full of small, mangable challenges that give you that good dopamine to overcome, and you well overcome them you're so capable.

Finding posts like this is social media at its best - hearing what helps the mssg poster gives me ideas and reminders of what can help when #neurodivergency feels a bit too much. So too with the #BPD

😄

Weekends in January are for seed catalogs by the fireplace. Turn off the news for a little while, make yourself a cuppa ☕️ and dream about all the good things you can grow 🌱 #GardenSunday

A talented actor - see how varied are the roles he has played, and played well - and someone who would be great to have drink with, I feel confident that he would be good company.

This is how 2023 to 2024 was for me. My life was mostly solitary & unproductive, then in May 2024 I began doing (home based) voluntary work for @greenpeaceuk.bsky.social I now very much feel part of a fantastic team, and am able to enjoy working again and having responsibilites

Word of the day is ‘confelicity’: joy in the happiness of others.

Watching Muppet Christmas Carol, as one does, and struck with a warm feeling about humanity. Not because of Christmas, but because a person wrote this story, and a hundred years later other people painstakingly created a version of it with puppets and miniatures and film

Wonderful painting, so talented - can so imagine the bitter cold and the feel and sound of the blowing wind on her face

Hey everyone, thanks for all your support this year. We hit 500k sales of Strange Horticulture on Steam! Behind the scenes, we've been meticulously crafting the mysteries of Strange Antiquities, and we are excited to share more next year. Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

Strange Horticulture is the most delightful game, where you become thoroughly focused and immersed in the world it creates. So when I saw the devs have made a sequel, it was wishlisted immediately!

Love this! It is as though the sweep of clouds are protecting the houses below, the people in them, and makes me think of winter nights and cosy times indoors while outside the cold bites

It is funny how tastes can change. It was following a visit to the Tate Modern with someone keen on Rothko that I learned to sit and really take in art, be it by paint or photo. Helps you really appreciate the art in front of you, the stillness

Beautiful blue!
