This is kind of cool. I am at the mouth of Columbia River. These are some of the freighters. They wait at the mouth of the river during low tide. The tide comes in and in 5 minutes they are gone up the river. #photography #outdoors #ColumbiaRiver

Ridgefield National Wildlife Reserve March 13, 2025 This is the exact same view of the marsh that was overflowing with Wildlife in 2020 in my previous post. Over the last 4 years, the Wildlife has gotten less and less. They haven't been here this year.

Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge January 25, 2020. These look to be Tundra Swans. Although, you could also find Trumpeter Swans in the mix. In the background, endangered Columbia River Deer were running along the banks. The migration back North happens in April and May.
