A VERY easy thing you can do to help the Earth, is not buy anything with palm oil in it. It’s unnecessary, only used because it’s cheap, and is destroying rainforests. READ LABELS! Also there is NO SUCH THING as sustainably harvested palm oil. Just BS to convince consumers with no real oversight.

Seasonal migration is common for many Yemeni people. Now, the country’s beekeepers have adopted the nomadic practice, toting their hives with them in pursuit of blooming flowers. It's a beautiful new twist on an age-old way of life that has helped bee populations recover & thrive. ow.ly/lV4K50VzrV9

I curated a diverse & inclusive kid's music series in Philly for years. It was a joy & privilege to bring some of the country's best indie kid's bands to local families. This is my favorite photo I made from those years, because seeing yourself on stage matters, being represented matters.

Today is my birthday. In lieu of gifts or well-wishes, I would like you to do something nice for yourself. Something concrete that brightens your day. And if you want to go over-and-above, why don’t you do something nice for someone else too? Maybe by including them in your plans for self-niceties!

I can't believe there haven't been 10 biopics about this man yet. I can believe it since he was a Commusocialist. But still. He was a star athlete, a MEGA star of stage and film, a publisher of a newspaper, a beautiful singer, an organization builder, a lawyer and a revolutionary.

Aww poop, I missed the chance to tell Adobe to fuck off. I'm a teacher. The way they absolutely *screw* my students and my university ougt to be criminal. If I could sell my school on the business case for Affinity Publisher at enterprise level instead, I would gleefully never use Indesign again.
