I thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural @enclavelan.bsky.social this weekend. Felt cozy despite being 500 people, lots of social stuff going on, and people enjoyed the puzzles I'd brought along. Core stuff (power, network, LAN cache) just worked. 10/10 will LAN again next Easter.

What am I missing here? If the 25% of Americans who would want to work in factories started to do so, the 80% who though that was a good idea would get what they wanted. Whether it is a good idea or a viable strategy aside, I'm not seeing the hypocrisy that everyone seems to be saying this shows.
