Her story has shaken up metro Detroit. It's very cold up here and she didn't get the help she needed even after calling the city and multiple agencies. She, her mom, and her kids slept in a van. Ran out of gas. Her 9 year old & 2 year old died from hypothermia. I can't stop thinking about her. 💔

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Did that when our negotiations were stalled. Walked in together at 8:00 when our school day began and walked out together at 3:10 PM. It helped lots of us see how much our school district benefited from our unpaid labor. Also was good for our morale.
