Started working on my first official free, open source project.

China's open sourcing a lot of hard- and software recently. Undermines US tech dominance, creates independence from supply chains, hurts American companies financially, yet might benefit the world through greater innovation and accessibility. I like it.

I love Clickhouse.

Started recording Bluesky follower data. DB reached ~10GB or ~10 million follow events after the first day. Didn't expect so this many daily events on a 30 million user base.

i'm getting weekly emails telling me to go fuck myself. lemon squeezy's reminder emails to update the payment method really work, just not in the way intended.

Invested half a million in $TEP (outsourced customer support), because my daily interactions with this pile of weights still boil down to this:

Minisky update still hasn't been approved by Google. If turnover takes this long, hotfixes will be impossible. In the future I'll cramp more stuff into each update.

I get most work done on weekends. A tragedy.

For the time first time in my life I have absolutely no idea what to work on or learn next. I've been jumping back and forth between smaller things but nothing resonates with me.

Just began working on a little browser MMO. It's like a little 2D Eve Online. You're commander of a fleet. All you have is the UI with a real-time map and visualisations.

Should've included the actual Minisky banner in the launch post. Anyway, here it is:

#Minisky is out! The mini Bluesky app for your browser. It's still in alpha. If you have a need for a mini Bluesky client in your browser that shows you notifications please give it a try. Let me know what's missing! chromewebstore.google.com/detail/minis...

A lot of people on here have a hard time what "Bluesky is an open network." means.

Can someone follow me and unfollow me again? Thanks.

Can someone explain why there can be duplicate follow relationships? Example: A is following B twice, but with a different rkey #Bluesky #ATProto

@redsolver.dev Any chance I can pay for a dump of historic events from your Skyfeed indexer? :3

bsky.follow feed produces 1MB of data every few seconds. Plan is to store all events to a massive archive. Does something/someone provide a way to access or replay historic events since the inception?

Unclear what the purpose of #Bluesky #Jetstream is when the events take over 30 minutes to arrive. It only looks real-time if you have no filter turned on.

I just learned about Shake Shack. We need Shake Shack in Germany.

Someone made a retro #iOS app for #Mastodon. Wish we could have skeumorphism and smaller screens again. #iPhone

Just published Minisky to the Chrome Store.

Signing up for a Google Store dev account is a PITA.

Almost done with #Minisky. The mini #Bluesky client for your browser.

Making a mini Bluesky client for browsers, called Minisky. I only care about the notifications right now and don't want to open the app for that.

@jaz.bsky.social Would you accept a Jetstream PR to optionally include fat delete events or at least include the subject DID? I need to track events on specific user profiles in my app, but with the record missing, I can't filter by subject.

Is there any way to have the @bsky.app #firehose return deletion commits with the record? `record` is currently missing from the event and it makes it hard to log events that happen to a specific profile, not _by_ a specific user.
