Watching Jurassic Park, where a computer nerd with a debt problem and delusions of grandeur tears down all the safety systems, with no understanding of the consequences, so he can better facilitate his planned espionage and theft.

We've crossed a very, very dangerous threshold. The combined forces of ignorance, disinformation, hate, and extreme wealth have seized power and are twisting the global agenda. Decent people need to step up and counter it all, or things are simply going to descend into the pit of hell.

Some people cannot comprehend that the exodus from X is not 'liberal flight' but a lot of people deciding that the content on the platform - hate/extremism, disinformation, violent/nsfw content, low quality ads, lax responses to user reports, suppression of content - just can't be ignored any more.

Imagine sitting down for a drink or a meal with people whose company you enjoyed & being told by management that half of the table would be now occupied by people who just wanted to shout ‘C**t’ at you. The exodus has absolutely nothing to do with ‘opinions’. Media reports must reflect this more.

I am exhausted with the bots, rage baiting, misinformation and infantile insults and abuse that difference in political opinion attracts on X/Twitter. It is not a healthy platform in its current state. The place is filled with toxicity, and is enabled.
