I feel like Next Fest has lost its shine for me. In my head it was a week to highlight some great indie games that could have gotten lost in the sea of releases. When it has the sheer volume it has now, it is such a sea of demos it's not possible to scratch the surface.

Was really excited to make some garlic and goats cheese foccacia only to find my yeast had somehow awakened, fermented and gone off, so I check my spare packet yeast... they'd got damp in a leak from a recent storm. I've been out to the shops twice today,guess that means no foccacia til tomorrow :(

Reading Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch, this was published in 2011 and seems to be set contemporarily, I'm pretty sure people knew what Nachos were, although I'll concede cinema nachos are pretty gross most of the time

I've just seen that the upcoming Final Destination: Bloodlines was directed by the team behind the Kim Possible live action movie, which, whilst I had a fun enough time watching it, was not a good film... oh dear

Love when you try to use a 'better' piece of software and it just... doesn't work Drag and drop the files into the media pool instantly showing offline, DaVinci resolve apparently just doesn't recognise that that file exists... works fine in Movie Studio 16 though 🙃

I've heard about Possession as a part of horror cinema history for years but never found the time to watch it till tonight Unsettling doesn't cut it, unusual and uncomfortable in all the right ways with incredible acting, even if goofy at times due to age Just don't watch amazon's awful subs 4/5*
