Update 4/25: I extended the room I'm in until Tuesday, intended moving day. however I goofed big, I forgot it was Friday and used most of what I had on me. gofundme doesn't operate on weekends. if you see this in the next day or two and can contribute, PLEASE use the linktree in my bio instead!

Update 4/24: I had a really unsafe run-in a couple nights ago and I've lost my campsite. I'm currently in a hotel for a few nights to shelter in place during more storms, but I'm not entirely sure what's next, but that is today's project. I have a solid option in a bigger city a couple hours away.

being homeless feels like when guys get angry and call me fat the moment I say "no" to something. I was fat when I was saying "yes" to everything and they didn't care and didn't treat me differently. hm. I wonder what that's about.

update 4/22: I was detained by police for over an hour today because I was on the sidewalk across the street from where that sign was. it's gone btw. I was waiting for a meal. I missed the meal because they detained me and wouldn't let me get the meal. I was not arrested!! just kept from the meal.

update 4/22: I might just wait until this round of storms passes before I try to fully repair or replace anything. it doesn't feel like it's worth doing today if it might just get destroyed again a few days later. but we survived the night!

I went to the bigot bucket shelter to find out if or when I could score some new clothes. there's a new sign on the brick sign for the property. "no trespassing, no loitering, actionable by lawsuit" they want to give homeless people legal trouble for being homeless and on a sidewalk.

update 4/21 pt 2: in the time it took me to go get another tarp, it started raining again, and I came back to find my tent had been ransacked. I was gone less than an hour. now I have about five days of clothes, all of which are soaked.
