Reminder that in New Orleans ALONE the NOPD Superintendent ADMITTED that 1 in 5 police officers had been verifiably accused of/reported for sexual violence and/or intimate partner violence. The national police database doesnt even include corrections officers with PREA cases filed for raping women

Great news! Best part is Trump’s lawyers not being able to say what they mean by DEI or how it violates the law—-which directly leads to the preliminary injunction. Keep filing lawsuits, keep protesting, keep calling your electeds and talking to neighbors. We’re slowing them down. We can stop them.

If you post or repost gAI imagery, I will unfollow you. It is anti-human anti-environment and pro-oligarchy. We need to do far better.

I was inspired to do a little something, based on a comment @prisonculture.bsky.social made earlier this week, and put together this flyer with federal policy actions that happened this week. I hope people find this useful!

Are y'all heading out this weekend to a protest, picket, community event, library, supermarket etc...? Look at this terrific handout created by @birchbot.bsky.social. Thanks to them for this.

Oh fuck, what a grift. J6 terrorists sue a DOJ controlled by Trump; Trump orders DOJ lawyers to settle for an undisclosed amount, both sides agree to an NDA. This can happen dozens, hundreds of times. Just an ingenious way to funnel tax dollars to far-right terrorist groups.

100%. They might not actually run out of jail space. It takes a lot of time and money to get people out. Arrestees are often reluctant to protest with charges out there. Most importantly, don’t make it easy for them. We need everyone in the fight. Make this shit harder for them—-and easier for us!

@alexwinter.com Heading to the Long Beach one tomorrow. Thanks for building this whole thing

This is really important. Gotta fight every where and the courts have been (so far!) a great place to slow them down. Resist every where you can: at work, at church, in the streets, at a Tesla lot. It might seem like there aren’t very many people but it will grow if we get out there.

One reason its important to slow things down in courts is to buy time for the impact of Trump’s torching of the fed govt and the economy to hit people so that some Trump supporters turn against him and drive down his poll numbers, so that institutions grow a spine. bsky.app/profile/conv...

The governor of Maine is a 77-year-old in the middle of her second term in office and therefore ineligible to run for a third. But King Trump here tries to intimidate her by saying she'll have no future career in politics if she dares to stand up to him. I think she's all good, man.

Beautiful moment from an educator to his representative. We all need to be making these kinds of appeals. Our electeds are basically very tentative, risk averse people who are waiting for us to tell them how to act in this moment. They need courage we can provide.

Bannon and MAGA are too far right for the extreme, racist, immigrant hating right in France. If they think Bannon and Musk are Nazis, the debate is over. Whether or not people knew they were voting for Nazis in November, the MAGA leaders couldn’t be clearer about their politics.

Get arrested preventing DOGE goons from entering public buildings, get arrested going into public buildings to find out what DOGE goons are doing, get arrested on the floor during confirmation votes to protest the rubber stamping of unqualified candidates

We should all hate the sociopathic entities that privilege profit over all else, but especially billion dollar healthcare corporations that kill thousands by delaying and denying care. You don’t have to support killing their leaders to support Luigi. It’s about killing corporate power over us.

More of this. The fuck are you doing promoting a book when the country is falling apart?

I feel so sick. Enough with the lies, enough with the games. They know exactly what they're doing. This is a neo-Nazi movement. Proudly so. The only reason they've kept it coded up until now was to take advantage of those who didn't want to believe it. No more looking away. Face up to what it is.

This is getting at why I appreciate #TeslaTakeDown - wagingnonviolence.org/ipra/2025/02...

No, the mail is not “the least of our worries.” It’s a fucking important worry. It is the only postal service that delivers to every address. They are only provider of complete mail services for overseas military bases and provide free overseas PO boxes. They help prepare passport apps. Ship meds…

How many federal workers would DOGE need to fire to make up for Musk not paying his fair share of taxes? Answer: 677,000. That's 44% of the entire non-DoD federal workforce. Again, this power grab is not about the budget. It’s about politics.

This is such an important framing. The problem isn’t lack of money to provide jobs and services, it’s despicable billionaires using a tax code they bought to avoid paying their share. If we taxed these clowns even like Reagan did, we could live a life of abundance for all people in need.

We asked the American people which government agencies DOGE should target.

"“In the US, we appeal rulings we disagree with – we don’t ignore court orders or threaten judges with impeachment just because we don’t like the decision. This is a coup, plain and simple,” Arizona’s attorney general, Kris Mayes, said." www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Help me with the math: Caruso’s group will provide housing for 100 people for $30 million. Does that mean housing 500,000 people would only cost $150 billion? And that Elon Musk could provide that much housing and still keep $300 billion? www.latimes.com/california/s...

To all law students harboring dreams of doing good in the world, big law will never be that place. You will never, ever, ever offset the harm you do in the 2000 hours you're forced to bill for the worst corporate actors in the world with the 50 pro bono hours they begrudgingly allow you to do.

If you’re wondering why I declined to talk to the NYTimes, then you haven’t been following my account for very long. They bear a direct responsibility for the current situation we find ourselves in, and I responded by laying out my position and that I would only talk to @jamellebouie.net

Constantly amazes me that liberals watch this and conclude Bannon is off his meds instead of realizing we need this kind of focus and commitment to win any meaningful systemic changes.

LA County Counsel is riven by conflicts of interest. They have taken a particular interest in covering up sheriff wrongdoing through NDAs to silence deputy gang victims and have consistently tried to bully the COC during its hearings and now in defending rights to oversight.

If you don't know who McCune Smith is, you should. He was one of the most significant abolitionists in US history. As well known as Frederick Douglass when he died. The first Black American to receive a medical degree. He had to go to Scotland for that cuz Columbia [Kings College] refused admittance

It's worth pointing out to everyone that these billionaires have no interest whatsoever in helping us out. If they save money, it will be redistributed to them, or one of their cronies. If they give you some small pittance, it will come directly from your neighbor's salary. Don't believe it.

Great essay not just on #takedowntesla but how it's working and how it exemplifies direct action (Waging Nonviolence is always worth checking out):

People get that this guy is dangerous, they don’t like him, and they know he and Musk are clowns. He won on thin margins and is very weak. Keep talking to each other about this, keep encouraging people to speak out, and keep building power locally to support and protect your community.

The main reason to remember that the fascist is UNPOPULAR is to shift how you think about antifascism. Get off your back foot. Lean forward. Other people are seeing what you are too.

American Inequity In 3 Minutes on the Train monstrous amazon warehouse next to small industrial looking apartment units stacked into the sky followed by a long stretch of homeless encampments with tarps, empty shopping carts, clothes, and shoes.

This is an ICE prosecutor. He’s an overt white supremacist working as a lawyer in the federal government for Trump and Musk—-one of the few fed workers whose job is definitely safe. He should be fired and disbarred if this is true. At a minimum a DC lawyer should file a bar complaint against him.

It’s not a coincidence—it’s a warning.

Let’s see if we can get all our liberal friends to return or sell their Swasticars too.

It’s a shame Applebaum is on your show. Please ask her about the time she proudly wrote that Palestinian journalists were combatants and therefore legitimate Israeli targets. It's an astonishing statement in general, but from a rank propagandist like her, it's even wilder. slate.com/news-and-pol...

I'm making the point that Tr*mp is actually UNPOPULAR and if there were an ACTUAL opposition party [which some of you argued with me in my mentions for 2 days & cried when I said there is no opposition party in the U.S.] he would be even more unpopular.

At the behest of Wall Street donors, Congressional Republicans are trying to overturn the CFPB's new rule against predatory overdraft fees. The rule would have capped overdraft charges at $5, saving consumers $5B annually. The GOP is the party of junk fees.

if anyone out there is working on organizing a Butlerian Jihad, let me know.

If the NYT could resist, for just one day, normalizing his most absurd ideas, whether it’s Canada, DOGE, Greenland, or anything else, they might be considered a legitimate source of information again.

Here's a messaging toolkit if people want to use it to create your own handouts to share with your communities. Thanks for sharing Anat.

Just going to say again that one of the best things folks can be doing is to walk around their neighborhoods handing out two pagers to their neighbors explaining what's happening. If 1 million people committed to doing this over the month of March, we'd be getting somewhere re: info.

As I just shared this in a comment, I will also share it here. We made a free workbook associated with Let This Radicalize You. We included a bibliography of organizing resources pp. 100-109 - books, podcasts, curricula, articles, etc... www.interruptingcriminalization.com/resources-al...
