Years ago in Sri Lanka, the country's majority race cheered on the government when it turned on the minority race and began jailing people as terrorists. Within a very short while those same laws were turned against ALL disfavored parties. Journalists, Judges, lawyers etc.
This will happen here too.

Hamurabbi codified this 4000 years ago which carried forward into Rome and then England and the Magna Carta. EVERYONE who violated this was a dictator. Even America did it in WW2, with the Japanese internment camps, and later apologized. It was a stain on our history.

Before WW2 when Jews were put in a concentration camp they were allowed to leave if their relatives or friends could procure them a visa to leave the country AND if they didn't have any injuries or scars from their time in the camps. The same could be true here.
