I am a Special Education teacher at a middle school this year. I thought high school math and physics for 32 years, then retired for two years and did art. I always thought I wanted to try Sped. I am loving it so far, but it has some challenges.

It just dawned on me that all of the special kids that I teach are probably consdered DEI by Cheeto and therefore not worth being in society.

There is still good in the world, I can still believe in people during the Christmas season. I can hope that the hatred that allowed them to vote against so many will diminish. Christmas is about Christ and his love, maybe some of the Christians will learn how that is different from Trump’s message

An interesting thing that more people should note. After the Uvalde school shooting, there was a lot of talk by Republicans of hardening school against shooters. Congress even approved a billion dollars for doing that. Funds are administered by the department of education.
