It really fucking annoys me that every other country gets to see "Gulf of Mexico" on Google maps except the US. We're forced to see the made-up name "Gulf of America" because trump insists on it. Lies and MAGA fiction is replacing reality and being shoved down our throats and I fucking hate it.

Took Google Maps off my phone because they changed the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. Just checked Apple Maps to make sure I was using a sane app -- and they changed it, too. Everything we own and use is owned by oligarchs lining up to appease Trump. I don't know how we get out of this mess.

So I heard that if you "google" for Gulf of Mexico, the mal shows Gulf of America. I used DuckDuckGo and asked about the Golf of Mexico and got what I asked for. Stop using Google and use DuckDuckGo.

Here’s something fun to do. Google “the Gulf of Mexico.” When it delivers “Gulf of America,” click on the three little dots next to it and select “send feedback” and then “general feedback.” You’ll be able to select “inaccurate information,” and in the notes field you can express yourself. Enjoy!
