This is pretty fun, things that shouldn't "live" moving on their own is almost always deeply unsettling. Same with empty places where people should be present, just peak atmosphere in my opinion. Some lingering echo of humanity (or something worse) just WAITING for somebody to pass by, spooky.

That being said I feel like it really helps to have like some way of "expressing" personality or autonomy with a created character. Sometimes a design or an idea alone isn't enough, allowing context is pretty important for making someone *want* to imagine these things.

For me personally, I don't think I actively roleplay them in any real way as I go through the game but I do imagine scenarios that exist outside the scope of the actual game. Though outside of Pokemon I don't play these games terribly often, RPGs usually have to hook me on both narrative & gameplay.

Ah fair, hope nightreign ends up being a good experience. Get to play as miss bloodborne and bird furry. I only own a bloodborne machine (ps4) which isn't included in the network test either.

Wait, isn't the network test only for Xbox and PS5? I was excited to try it out at first but now I'm just coping by pretending like there isn't a network test.
