What people mean when they say "AI is useless" is that every example of something that AI can do (coding, summarizing a PDF, even filtering spam emails) is something that non-LLM "AI" tech can do, or a person can be hired to do. It's a "why are you reinventing the wheel" conception of "uselessness"

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Get in girls, we're forcefemming daffy duck

“BRING HIM HOME” 🔥

all im saying is america needs to bring back the battle hymn of the republic. sing it at every event, every rally, every protest. make them say they hate it. make them say it's unchristian. make them fear their history

"she's not gonna fuck you bro" she will. she will if i display my plumage ostentatiously enough

It's 1828. The United States has adopted the highest tariff rate of the century for insane and idiotic reasons. It's 1929. The United States has adopted the highest tariff rate of the century for insane and idiotic reasons. It's 2025. The United States has adopted the highest tariff rate of the ce

Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

And we're gonna put the genie back in the bottle, folks. They said it couldn't be-- They said we couldn't do it. Can you believe it? But we've got the most beautiful bottle and that genie's going back in it

Observational humor, or "obhume," as they call it in the biz,

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

"I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down." But you fucking did, though. You fucking did it as your literal next official act. You voted yes on cloture, and then you voted no on the Continuing Resolution. YOU VOTED TO SHUT OUR GOVERNMENT DOWN. TODAY.

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN. ☎️: (202) 224-3121 Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid. The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING. Call retiring Senators too!

PUT THE WOKE BACK NOW!!!!

Wow. Watch this from Zohran Mamdani. It looks like the exact "fight" and "conviction" people are hopelessly asking for from the people in charge of the Democratic party:

well king. bad news on that front

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave. Tell them: 1. Vote NO on Cloture AND 2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill. Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it. TODAY is the showdown. 🤳🏽: (202) 224-3121

You're going to be tempted to engage in discourse focused on what Mahmoud Khalil said--was it actually antisemitic? Did he endorse Hamas?--and I cannot encourage you enough not to do that. It just doesn't matter what he said because you should not be detained and deported over what you say, period.
